The Dodgers bounced back nicely today with a solid performance by beating the Rockies 6-1 today. The win puts the NL West lead back to three games as the Dodgers look to make it four games by winning the game and series tomorrow. Vicente Padilla will be making his Dodgers debut against Jorge De La Rosa. Padilla needs to put on a solid six inning start and keep the momentum going.
Great news on George Sherrill today as the MRI came back negative on his oblique and he is listed as day to day. Those wondering why he wasn't in the game Tuesday when James McDonald blew the game for us, well now you now.
MLBTR has a brief article stating that Manny shouted "I'm going to be here next year" to his Dodgers teammates. Not a huge shocker as who in the world would pay this guy $20MM to play baseball next year. You can also check out an interesting discussion about Orlando Hudson at MLBTR here.
