Dodgers Acquire Jim Thome

SI's Jon Heyman is reporting that the Dodgers have just acquired Jim Thome. I didn't see this one coming at all, and Colletti has once again pulled off a great trade. The Dodgers give up Justin Fuller in the deal and are expected to receive some cash in the deal from the Sox. The Dodgers have been in the hunt for left-handed power off the bench, and Thome definitely fits that description as he is currently 12th on the all time home run list. Thome has 23 home runs and 74 RBI's as a member of the White Sox this season.
