Multiple sources report that premier free agent Zach Greinke and the Los Angeles Dodgers have come to terms with a 6-year $147M contract that likely to setup one of the best 1-2 starting combinations in baseball. The contract which will be the 14th largest in history is sure to make waves as impending free agency for Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw is set in about 2 years.
The Dodgers have been favorite in nearly every player they’ve had interest in, since the influx of fresh money from their new owners Mark Walter, Magic Johnson and their Guggenheim partners.
Greinke will make the 50 minute freeway commute (plus traffic of course) to a Los Angeles Dodger team looking for a fresh start as hundreds of millions of dollars are being added to their payroll. More to come on this development as this deal, like in any are always pending a physical.

I never thought I would agree with this opinion, but I’m starting to see things differently.
